BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Egg is one of the food of people's daily consumption. especially during wedding feasts, parties, in large-scale restaurants, family meals, the quantity of eggs consumed is very big. In order to break eggshell, usually all it is the artificial edge for removing touching bowl side or other protrusions by egg, cracks Eggshell crushed by impact force. But such broken egg mode often makes bowl body or other objects dirty, sometimes exerts oneself It is improper, egg can be also directly smashed completely, and egg white and yolk is caused to be scattered on the ground, it is wasting while also being very unhygienic. [0007] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, there exists a need in the art to develop a device that is capable of applying optimum amount of force for breaking shell of the egg as per the user requirement in order to remove the shell in a precise and an automated manner along with capable of determining dimension of egg-yolk of the broken egg and accordingly separate the egg yolk and the egg-white.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.

[0009] An object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of accommodating an egg and accordingly apply optimum amount of force for breaking shell of the egg as per the user requirement in order to remove the shell in a precise and an automated manner.

[0010] Another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of determining dimension of egg-yolk of the broken egg and accordingly separate the egg yolk and the egg-white in view of providing only the egg-white to the user in an automated manner.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0013] The present invention relates to an adaptable egg-breaking assistive device that is capable of accommodating an egg and accordingly apply optimum amount of force for breaking shell of the egg according to need for remove the shell in a precise and an automated manner.

[0014] According to an embodiment of the present invention, an adaptable egg-breaking assistive device, comprising of a L-shaped body fabricated with a handle that is accessed by a user to hold the body, a looped strap coiled on a motorized roller arranged on the handle for securing the user's hands on the handle, a C-shaped frame having a vertical member and a first and second horizontal member, a hemispherical cup is integrated on inner periphery of the first and second member for enabling the user to accommodate an egg in one of the cup associated with the first member, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit integrated in the body and paired with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of the body, respectively to determine presence of the egg, a plate is arranged on the second horizontal member and configured with an electromagnetic spring that to expand/contract for providing controlled tapping movement to the plate over the egg, in view of breaking shell of the egg.

[0015] According to another embodiment of the present invention, proposed device further comprises of a microphone integrated in the body that is accessed by the user to provide input voice commands regarding requirement of egg-white, plurality of suction units arranged on inner periphery of the cup for adhering to the broken shell, in view of removing the shell, a circular disc integrated on the frame by means of a L-shaped telescopically rod that is actuated to extend/retract for positioning the disc on the broken egg, the imaging unit determines dimensions of egg-yolk of the broken egg, a motorized sleeve coupling is integrated in between the frame and the body for rotating the frame, in view of pouring the egg white in an auxiliary container, a motorized ball and socket joint integrated in between the rod and frame to provide omnidirectional movement to the rod for positioning the disc on the egg-yolk, an battery is configured with the device for providing a continuous power supply to electronically powered components associated with the device.

The imaging unit 4 comprises of an image capturing arrangement including a set of lenses that captures multiple images of the body 1 and the captured images are stored within a memory of the imaging unit 4 in form of an optical data. The imaging unit 4 also comprises of a processor that is integrated with artificial intelligence protocols, such that the processor processes the optical data and extracts the required data from the captured images. The extracted data is further converted into digital pulses and bits and are further transmitted to the microcontroller. The microcontroller processes the received data and determines presence of the egg.

[0026] After then, a plate is arranged on the second horizontal member and configured with an electromagnetic spring 7. Upon determining the presence of the egg, the microcontroller actuate the electromagnetic spring 7 to expand/contract for providing controlled tapping movement to the plate over the egg. The electromagnetic spring 7 consists of electromagnetic coil where upon the passing of current the coil generates a magnetic field and the coil is magnetized that generates a magnetic force. The magnetic force creates electromagnetic attraction leading to expanding and compressing of spring 7 that provides controlled tapping movement to the plate over the egg, in view of breaking shell of the egg.

[0027] Upon breaking the shell of the egg, the microcontroller activates a microphone 5 integrated in the body 1 that is accessed by the user to provide input voice commands regarding requirement of egg-white. The microphone 5 works as a transducer that converts sound waves into audio signal. The microphone 5 on receiving the input from the user converts the input signal into electrical signal and sends to the microcontroller. The microcontroller on receiving the signals interpret the user input command regarding requirement of egg-white.

[0028] As per the user command, plurality of suction units 10 arranged on inner periphery of the cup 9 for adhering to the broken shell. The suction units 10 are consist of a circular disc 8 which are made of a flexible material mostly rubber with a rounded edge, whenever the pressure is applied by the concerned person in the center of the disc 8, a concave shape is generated and when the cup 9s is forced against surface of broken shell a vacuum is created in the cup 9s which causes the cup 9s to stick strongly with the surface of broken shell in view of removing the shell.

[0029] After then, a circular disc 8 integrated on the frame 6 by means of an L-shaped telescopically rod. Upon removing the shell, the microcontroller actuate the L-shaped telescopic rod to extend/retract for positioning the disc 8 on the broken egg. The extension of the rod is powered by a pneumatic unit associated with the device and includes an air compressor, air cylinder, air valves and piston. The air compressor used herein extract the air from surrounding and increases the pressure of the air by reducing the volume of the air. The air compressor consists of two main parts including a motor and a pump. The motor propels the compressor pump which uses the energy from the motor drive to draw in atmospheric air and compress to elevated pressure. The compressed air is then sent through a discharge tube into the cylinder across the valve. The compressed air in the cylinder tends to pushes out the piston to extend which extends the rod for positioning the disc 8 on the broken egg.

[0030] Additionally, a motorized ball and socket joint integrated in between the rod and frame 6 to provide omnidirectional movement to the rod for positioning the disc 8 on the egg-yolk. The ball and socket joint provides a rotation to the rod for aiding the rod to turn at a desired angle. The ball and socket joint is a coupling consisting of a ball joint securely locked within a socket joint, where the ball joint is able to move in a 360-dgree rotation within the socket thus, providing the required rotational motion to the rod The ball and socket joint is powered by a DC (direct current) motor that is actuated by the microcontroller thus providing multidirectional movement to the rod for positioning the disc 8 on the egg-yolk.

[0032] Upon determining the dimension of egg-yolk of the broken egg, the microcontroller actuates a motorized sleeve coupling is integrated in between the frame 6 and the body 1 for rotating the frame 6. The motorized sleeve coupling is powered by DC motor and function by transmitting torque and power from frame 6 to body 1 through the sleeve. When the frame 6 rotates, it imparts motion to the sleeve, which, in turn, transfers this motion to the body 1. The torque is transferred through the friction between the sleeve and the shafts for rotating the frame 6, in view of pouring the egg white in an auxiliary container in a manner that the egg yolk gets accumulated over top of the disc 8, thereby allowing only the egg-white to get poured in the container.

The battery is comprised of a pair of electrode named as a cathode and an anode. The battery uses a chemical reaction of oxidation/reduction to do work on charge and produce a voltage between their anode and cathode and thus produces electrical energy that is used to do work in the device.

Then, the L-shaped telescopically rod that is actuated by the microcontroller to extend/retract for positioning the disc 8 on the broken egg, followed by the imaging unit 4 determines dimensions of egg-yolk of the broken egg. Then, tha motorized sleeve coupling for rotating the frame 6, in view of pouring the egg white in an auxiliary container, in the manner that the egg yolk gets accumulated over top of the disc 8, thereby allowing only the egg-white to get poured in the container. Additionally, the motorized ball and socket joint to provide omnidirectional movement to the rod for positioning the disc 8 on the egg-yolk.

Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternate embodiments of the invention, will become apparent to persons skilled in the art upon reference to the description of the invention. , Claims:1) An adaptable egg-breaking assistive device, comprising:

i) a L-shaped body 1 fabricated with a handle 2 that is accessed by a user to hold said body 1, wherein a looped strap coiled on a motorized roller 3 arranged on said handle 2 for securing said user's hands on said handle 2;
ii) a C-shaped frame 6 having a vertical member and a first and second horizontal member, arranged on one end of said body 1, wherein a hemispherical cup 9 is integrated on inner periphery of said first and second member for enabling said user to accommodate an egg in one of said cup 9 associated with said first member;
iii) an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 integrated in said body 1 and paired with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of said body 1, respectively to determine presence of said egg, wherein a plate is arranged on said second horizontal member and configured with an electromagnetic spring 7 that is actuated by said microcontroller to expand/contract for providing controlled tapping movement to said plate over said egg, in view of breaking shell of said egg;
iv) a microphone 5 integrated in said body 1 that is accessed by said user to provide input voice commands regarding requirement of egg-white, wherein plurality of suction units 10 arranged on inner periphery of said cup 9 for adhering to said broken shell, in view of removing said shell;
v) a circular disc 8 integrated on said frame 6 by means of a L-shaped telescopically rod that is actuated by said microcontroller to extend/retract for positioning said disc 8 on said broken egg, wherein said imaging unit 4 determines dimensions of egg-yolk of said broken egg; and
vi) a motorized sleeve coupling is integrated in between said frame 6 and said body 1 for rotating said frame 6, in view of pouring said egg white in an auxiliary container, in a manner that said egg yolk gets accumulated over top of said disc 8, thereby allowing only said egg-white to get poured in said container.

2) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a motorized ball and socket joint integrated in between said rod and frame 6 to provide omnidirectional movement to said rod for positioning said disc 8 on said egg-yolk.

3) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a battery is configured with said device for providing a continuous power supply to electronically powered components associated with said device.
