Specification
Description:TECHNICAL FIELD
[001] The embodiments herein generally relate to washing machines. More particularly, embodiments herein relate to a system for uniform distribution of intake water and detergent in the washing machine.
BACKGROUND
[002] Generally, washing machines are designed for washing clothes, for the convenience of users. In washing machines such as a top load washing machine, laundry, water, and detergent are loaded into a tub of the washing machine. The water is supplied to the tub of the top load washing machine from a water source via a water inlet pipe (flexible hose) connected to a water intake channel provided in a top cover of the top load washing machine. The water from the water intake channel enters a detergent compartment provided in the top cover of the top load washing machine and mixes with the detergent and flows into the tub. However, water mixed with the detergent flows into the tub of the top load washing machine through a single opening provided in the detergent compartment and falls only on one location of the tub. This results in soaking only a few areas of the laundry inside the tub. Further, as the water falls only into one location, the detergent mixed with the water also falls only on one location of the tub and therefore the detergent does not mix evenly over the laundry inside the tub.
[003] In washing machines, generally steam is used to improve the washing efficiency in a wash cycle and to improve drying of laundry in a spin cycle. However, while using steam in a top load washing machine, specifically in a wash cycle, the steam escapes from the tub and gets condensed in a control panel, a back panel and on a lid of the washing machine.
[004] Therefore, there exists a need for a system for distributing intake water and detergent in a washing machine which obviates the aforementioned drawbacks.
OBJECTS
[005] The principal object of embodiments herein is to provide a system for distributing intake water and detergent in a washing machine.
[006] Another object of embodiments herein is to provide the system for evenly soaking the laundry inside a tub of the washing machine.
[007] Another object of embodiments herein is to provide the system for evenly mixing the detergent inside the tub of the washing machine.
[008] Another object of embodiments herein is to provide the system for preventing the escape of steam from the tub of the washing machine.
[009] Another object of embodiments herein is to provide the system for reducing the wash cycle time of the washing machine.
[0010] Another object of embodiments herein is to improve the washing efficiency of the top load washing machine.
