Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a system for real-time monitoring of the health and performance of forest cleaning track stump grinder machines.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Maintaining and monitoring the health and performance of track stump grinder machines used in forest cleaning operations is crucial for efficient and productive forestry operations. However, current monitoring systems often lack real-time functionality and comprehensive data analysis capabilities, leading to undetected issues and extended downtime. The absence of a centralized platform for data processing and analysis further exacerbates this problem, hindering proactive maintenance and optimization efforts.
Followings are some prior arts to the present invention:
AU2005213187B2 The said prior art provides a grinding unit for use with a grinding machine. The grinding unit comprises a rotor which has a rim around which a plurality of slots are provided. Each of the slots in the rotor engages in use with one of a plurality of teeth. The teeth are retained in the rotor by a fixing means.
US7418986B2 A tooth for use in a grinding wheel is provided. The tooth comprises a main body including a slot comprising two substantially planar surfaces for, in use, engaging with a slot in the rotor, and at least one cutting face connected to and extending away from the main body. In use, the force in the plane of the rotor is transferred from the tooth onto the rotor via one of the planar surfaces provided on the slot.
None of the prior art indicate above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed.

The present invention, referred to as the 'OHTFCSGMote' (Online Health Tracking of Forest Cleaning Stump Grinder Machine over the Internet of Things), addresses these challenges by providing a comprehensive real-time health and performance monitoring solution for track stump grinder machines. The system integrates various sensors, including vibration, accelerometer, temperature, and humidity sensors, to capture dynamic data on the machine's operation and surrounding environmental conditions. This data is transmitted wirelessly via a GSM modem to a customized cloud server, where it undergoes Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis and machine learning-based evaluation to identify trends and anomalies.
The OHTFCSGMote system provides real-time feedback to on-site operators through an HMI display, showcasing critical alerts and relevant statistics. an HMI display configured to provide visual feedback on machine status, including critical alerts and relevant statistics; and
a power supply configured to provide continuous power for the operation of the system.
2. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cloud server is further configured to:
perform Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis on the real-time data to identify trends and anomalies; and
evaluate the real-time data using a machine learning algorithm to assess machine health and performance.
3. The system as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a web dashboard configured to provide remote access to historical data, machine status, and analytics.
4. The system as claimed in claim 3, wherein the web dashboard is further configured to provide email notifications to authorized personnel regarding potential issues or anomalies detected by the system.
