Abstract

The present invention relates to a smart medicinal kit and method thereof. The present invention comprises multiple compartments, each designed to hold a specific type of medication, a smart locking mechanism for each compartment, programmed to restrict access to the compartments except during predetermined times, a control unit linked to the smart locking mechanisms, configured to unlock a designated compartment at the scheduled time and relock it once the medication is dispensed, keeping it secure until the next scheduled dose, a voice command interface connected to the control unit, enabling hands-free interaction with the kit and a reminder system integrated with the control unit, designed to send alerts through sound, visual cues, or mobile notifications to prompt users about their medication schedules. Description:[001] The present disclosure, in general, relates to the field of medication. More specifically, the present invention relates to a smart medicinal kit and method thereof.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[003] Forgetting to take medication may seem like a minor slip, but for millions of people it can mean serious health risks. Now, imagine a world where no one ever has to worry about missing a dose again
Medication adherence is a critical factor in managing chronic conditions, especially for elderly individuals or those with cognitive impairments such as dementia. Missed doses or accidental double-dosing can lead to serious health complications.
[004] The problem of medication non-adherence poses s , Claims:1. A smart medicinal kit comprising:
a plurality of compartments, each compartment configured to store a different type of medication;
a smart locking mechanism for each compartment, wherein said locking mechanism is configured to prevent access to the compartment except at pre-scheduled times;
a control unit operatively connected to the smart locking mechanisms, wherein the control unit is configured to unlock a specific compartment at the pre-scheduled time and to lock said compartment after the medication has been dispensed until the next scheduled dose time;
a voice command interface operatively connected to the control unit, allowing users to interact with the medicinal kit through voice commands; and
a reminder unit operatively connected to the control unit, the reminder system is configured to issue alerts in the form of auditory, visual, or mobile notifications to remind users of their scheduled doses.
