Abstract

The present invention relates to a rainwater management system for agricultural crop protection. The Aqua Shield Agro provides an innovative agricultural rain protection system designed to shield crops from the adverse effects of heavy rainfall. Constructed from durable materials such as high-density polyethylene or reinforced fabric, the shield features a sloped or domed structure that effectively channels rainwater away from the soil, preventing soil erosion and waterlogging. Customizable in size and configuration, Aqua Shield Agro can be adapted to various field types and crop requirements, ensuring optimal protection in diverse agricultural settings. This cost-effective solution reduces soil management costs, promotes healthier crop growth, and supports sustainable farming practices by enhancing crop resilience to rainfall-related climate challenges. Specification

Description:[001] The present invention belongs to the field of agricultural protection technologies and relates specifically to a system designed to protect crops from adverse effects caused by excessive rainfall. The invention addresses critical challenges such as soil erosion, waterlogging, and physical crop damage, providing a solution that mitigates these issues through a customizable, durable shield that can be adapted to various agricultural contexts. This invention is particularly beneficial in environments experiencing frequent heavy rainfall, providing a sustainable solution to preserve soil health and crop quality.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] The following description provides the information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[003] Heavy rainfall is a recurring environmental chal , Claims:1. A rainwater management system for agricultural crop protection, comprising a modular shield made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or reinforced fabric, wherein the shield is configured with a sloped or domed structure designed to channel rainwater away from the soil surface, thus preventing soil erosion and preserving soil health.
2. The system of claim 1, wherein the sloped or domed structure of the shield enables multi-directional rainwater runoff, thereby reducing water accumulation and minimizing the risk of waterlogging around crop roots.
3. The system of claim 1, further comprising interlocking edges on each shield unit, allowing multiple units to be connected and scaled for larger field applications, wherein the interlocking mechanism provides flexibility in configuring the shield layout based on field dimensions and crop types.
4. A customizable and modular rain shield for agricultural use, comprising:
• a durable outer layer made of UV-resistant HDPE to withstand environmental stressors;
• an
