Description:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of packaging. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a ladle-shaped multi-function device for packaging light weight items and disposes the packet after filling, sealing and cutting from a packaging roll placed in the device.
BACKGROUND

[0003] Most of the items in the market are given in a machine packed packets or hand filled folded packets of paper and PVC. When number of items is more and demand is high, a cottage industry or an unorganised retail shop owner face difficulty to cater the demand for large customers in less time. The shop keeper has to pick the item, weigh, and then packing items which take more time.
[0004] Hence a packing machine is required for such shop owners to pack, and seal loose items like pulses, tealeaves, condiments etc. in least time. But in the realm of existing technologies, no direct analogue to the packet dispensing machines has been identified. While several novel and reliable solutions are present, these options exhibit limitations in adequately providing ease of use.
[0005] Efforts have been made to bring a simple handy and cost-efficient packaging device for small and un-organized venders. For example, Patent Document WO2017207287A1 discloses a food packaging, particularly for milk and cheese products, and associated production method comprising two hollow shells, each of two shells having a plane of symmetry and extending to a predetermined depth and having predetermined thickness, the joining plane being substantially orthogonal to the plane of symmetry, said packaging being characterized by the fact that at least one of the two shells has a depth measured in said plane of symmetry, that is greater than or equal to its thickness measured in the joining plane.
[0006] While disclosed reference document describe packing device for milk and cheese comprising of two hollow shells, but there is no solution is given for the dry items like grains, there is a possibility to have a better handy and simple device where such items can be filled, sealed, and disposed in faster way to address limitations of the existing arts.
[0007] Therefore, there is a need to provide a simple, multi-function, and cost-effective packaging and dispensing solution for common vendors to pack grain type materials, seal them, and dispense packets in fast and safe manner.
OBJECTS OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0008] A general object of the present disclosure is to provide a packing device to enable small cottage and un-organised sector by providing them with a hassle free, reliable and simple packaging solution.
[0009] It is an object of the present disclosure is to provide a simple, multi-function, and cost-effective solution to bring down cost while using the packaging device.
[0010] Another object of the present disclosure is to provide the multi-functional packaging solution that helps to fill, seal, and cut the filled packet for disposal.
[0011] Another object of the present disclosure is to provide the packaging machine that can use commercial power supply as well as battery for its operation.
[0012] Another object of the present disclosure is to provide a light weight and simple ladle design of the packaging machine that can be carried to any place of operation.
SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0013] Aspect of the present disclosure relates to the field of packaging. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a ladle-shaped multi-function device for packaging light weight items and disposes the packet after filling, sealing and cutting from a packaging roll placed in the device. More particularly, the packet dispensing ladle where a roll of the packaging sheet is housed and dispensed on demand according to the weight of the items to be filled to completely encapsulate it. Once filled, the mouth of the packet is sealed by a heat sealer, cut off the sealed packet while simultaneously sealing one end of the packing sheet, leaving the other end open for filling.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE

The disclosed embodiments are merely exemplary of the disclosure, which may be embodied in various forms. The embodiments are in such detail as to clearly communicate the disclosure. However, the amount of detail offered is not intended to limit the anticipated variations of embodiments; on the contrary, the intention is to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the spirit and scope of the present disclosure as defined by the appended claims.
[0032] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of power generation. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a system to generate electric power by capturing pressure of moving vehicles passing over speed breakers by using a bi-directional rack and pinion mechanism.

[0034] Referring now to FIG. 1 where an exemplary diagram of a disclosed ladle-shaped device 100 for packet dispensing is shown. Earlier, the packing machineries usually quite complex due to incorporation of many moving parts linked to electrical and electronic controls. Further their cost remains high, which is not affordable to the small vendors and cottage industries. The disclosed device 100 is a ladle or a spoon-shaped vessel with a long handle 102 and a bowl-shaped base 206. The design of the device 100 is very intuitive and simple while also being extremely reliable due to limited moving parts and light weight enable efficient and easy packaging solution for the common man by keeping the cost of packaging low. The device 100 can be used by small cottage industries and small vendors by providing them with a hassle free, simple packaging solution that is versatile enough to cope to their needs.

[0036] In an embodiment, the device 100 has a ladle-shaped bowl 206 with a long tube that terminates into the handle 102 on one end and the bowl 206 is present on the other end. The device 100 is made of light and strong sheet metal for being cost effective and light in weight having corrosion resistant properties to allow the user to use it with one hand. The inner surface of the bowl 206 is coated with silicon skirting 106 to have the sliding of the packaging sheet roll smooth. The user holds the device 100 by holding its handle 102. The device 100 is loaded with a packaging sheet roll within a bowl 206 in a position to keep one of the open ends of the packaging sheet stretched across the opening of the bowl 206 and sealed to form a close membrane. Once, the weight of the item to be packed is poured, the weight in the packet pulls the packaging sheet as per the weight of the required item. After filling the item, the user actuates the actuator mechanism by sliding a slider 104. The slider 104 is incorporated near the grip of the user in the handle 102 in an ergonomic way to slide it for heat seal and cut the packet from the roll of packaging sheet for disposal.

The design is very intuitive and simple while also being extremely reliable due to limited moving parts and light weight
[0038] In an embodiment, the heat sealing and cutting mechanism is present within the hollow handle 102 which connects one end of the heat sealing strips to the slider 104. When the user activate on the slider 104, the packets get sealed and cut.

[0042] In an embodiment, the FIG. 2 depicts the slider mechanism 204 along with the bowl 206 depicting roll of the packing sheet 202. The heat sealer consists of a pair of flexible metal strips 216 that sandwich a heating coil within them, one of the ends of these strips 216 is hinged through hinge 212 to the bowl 206 while the other is attached to the actuating rod 208. The slider mechanism 204 includes the slider 104, the actuation rod 208, and the retainer spring 210. The electrical wire 214 to supply power to the heating coils is carried from the handle 102 to bowl 206 using the actuation rod 208.
[0043] In an embodiment, while making the packets of item and the packet is filled, the actuation mechanism 204 is actuated by sliding the slider 104 for heat sealing and cutting that includes heating strips 216 incorporated into the mouth of the bowl 206 to seal the packet.

[0045] In an embodiment, the power circuit that powers the heating coils in the heat sealing strips 216 runs across the device 100 connecting the handle 102 to the bowl 206. When the slider 104 is pulled back, it completes the circuit by touching the contact plates and causes the current to flow in wire 214 that carry the power to the heat sealing strips 216.
[0046] FIG. 3 illustrates a section of the feed opening configured with the device 100 having heat sealing and cutting mechanism 302 including heat sealing strips 216-1 and 216-2 and each with a heating coil 304 sandwiched in them. They are actuated by the actuation rod 208 which brings them closer to sandwich the open end of the packaging roll between them. When the circuit is complete, the heating coil 304 heat seals the sandwiched sheets to close the packet.
[0047] In an embodiment, the heat sealing strips 216-1 and 216-2 along their centreline configured in a pair of protrusions that shear cut the packaging sheet while the sheets are being sealed. The cutting blade 306 cuts in between the seal so that the filled packet is ejected while the next packet's base is pre-sealed.

When the slider 104 is pulled back to the limit, it completes the electric heating circuit while the heating strips 216 that are being pulled simultaneously close the packet's opening. The heating caused by the heating coil 304 and the pressure by the metal heating strips 216-1 and 216-2 holding the packet close seal the packet.
[0049] In an embodiment, the pair of metal heating strips 216-1 and 216-2 is configured with a distance along with a cutting blade 306 placed in between to detach the packet simultaneously after sealing. The cutting blade 306 running across the middle, this works as a cutting blade 306 that cuts off the sealed packet. The lower end of the next packet is also sealed at one end of the packing sheet 202, leaving the other end open for filling. Thus, the device 100 is designed to successively generate new packets after detachment of the previous sealed packet.

, Claims:1. A device (100) to pack, seal, and dispense packets, the device (100) comprising:
a dispenser (200) having a roll of packaging sheet (202);
a heat sealing and cutting mechanism (302); and
an actuation mechanism (204) for heat sealing and cutting mechanism (302):
wherein the device (100) loads roll of packaging sheet (202) within a bowl (206) such that one of the open ends of the packaging sheet (202) is stretched across the opening of the bowl (206) and sealed to form a close membrane, wherein the weight of the item to be packed pulls the packaging sheet (202) as per the weight of the required item, wherein the actuator mechanism (204) is actuated to seal and cut the packet from the roll of packaging sheet (202) for disposal.
2. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the device (100) comprises a ladle like body construction for packet dispensing where the packaging sheet dispenser having toroidal shape is placed inside the bowl (206) of the device (100).
3. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the device (100) comprises two heating strips (216) coupled to a slider (104) of the handle (102) through a rod (208) to actuate heating strips (216) once the slider (104) is deployed.
4. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the two heating strips (216) have a sharp protrusion as a cutting blade (306) running across the middle to cut off the sealed packet while simultaneously sealing one end of the packing sheet, leaving the other end open for filling.
5. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the heat sealing and cutting mechanism (302) rest on the inner face of the bowl (206) pivoted opposite to handle (102) of the device (100) for actuation by a user.
