Abstract
ABSTRACT A method (100) for preparing anti-diabetic therapeutic formulation derived from Cannabis sativa and Zizania latifolia. Further, the method (100) comprising extracting active compounds from Cannabis sativa and Zizania latifolia using a suitable solvent selected from the group consisting of ethanol, methanol, and aqueous solutions, at a temperature ranging from 25°C to 60°C, for a duration of 2 to 24 hours. Further, filtering the extract to remove solid residues and obtaining a clear liquid extract containing the active phytochemicals. Further, concentrating the filtered extract under reduced pressure at a temperature not exceeding 40°C to obtain a concentrated extract. Further, mixing the concentrated extract with pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. Further, characterizing the anti-diabetic therapeutic formulation for DPP4 and PPAR inhibitory activity using computational approach (i.e. Molecular docking) and in-silico pharmacokinetics.
