Abstract
ABSTRACT A method (100) for preparing anti-diabetic therapeutic formulation derived from Alpinia mutica and Tradescantia spatheca. Further, the method (100) comprising extracting active compounds from Alpinia mutica and Tradescantia spatheca using a suitable solvent selected from the group consisting of ethanol, methanol, and aqueous solutions, at a temperature ranging from 25°C to 60°C, for a duration of 2 to 24 hours. Further, filtering the extract to remove solid residues and obtaining a clear liquid extract containing the active constituents. Further, concentrating the filtered extract under reduced pressure at a temperature not exceeding 40°C to obtain a concentrated extract. Further, mixing the concentrated extract with pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. Further, characterizing the anti-diabetic therapeutic formulation (i.e. 3D structure) for diabetic inhibitory activity using computational approach (i.e. Molecular docking) and in-silico pharmacokinetics.

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of therapeutic formulation and, in particular to a method for preparing anti-diabetic therapeutic formulation derived from Alpinia mutica and Tradescantia spatheca.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Diabetes mellitus, a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by elevated blood glucose levels, remains one of the most pressing health issues worldwide. The demand for effective, safe, and accessible anti-diabetic therapies ha , Claims:1. A method (100) for preparing anti-diabetic therapeutic formulation derived from Alpinia mutica and Tradescantia spatheca, the method comprising:
extracting active compounds from Alpinia mutica and Tradescantia spatheca using a suitable solvent selected from the group consisting of ethanol, methanol, and aqueous solutions, at a temperature ranging from 25°C to 60°C, for a duration of 2 to 24 hours, at step 102;
filtering the extract to remove solid residues and obtaining a clear liquid extract containing the active constituents, at step 104;
concentrating the filtered extract under reduced pressure at a temperature not exceeding 40°C to obtain a concentrated extract, at step 106;
mixing the concentrated extract with pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, at step 108; and
characterizing the anti-diabetic therapeutic formulation (i.e. 3D structure) for diabetic inhibitory activity using computational approach (i.e. Molecular docking) and in-silico pharmacokinetics, at step 110.
2. The method (100) as cla
