The machine for making Animal food using fruit waste and vegetable pulp as raw material comprises; a hopper (100); a rinsing chamber (101); a tray 1 (102); a grinding machine 1 (103); a heating chamber (104); a tray 2 (108); a grinding machine 2 (109); and a pellet forming machine (110).
The machine for making Animal food, wherein, the heating chamber (104), further comprises; a conveyer belt (105); and a temperature measuring device (107). The conveyer belt (105) further comprises; a heating coil with a fan (106).
The machine for making animal food wherein, the hopper (100) acts as a receiver of fruit waste and vegetable pulp. The top end of the hopper is open in air and bottom end of it is connected to the rinsing chamber (101). The rinsing chamber (101), is for rinsing and cleaning the fruit waste and vegetable pulp. The tray 1 (102) acts as receiver of cleaned fruit waste and vegetable pulp; wherein, the top end of the tray 1 is attached to the bottom of the rinsing chamber (101). The grinding machine 1 (103), wherein, the cleaned fruit waste and vegetable pulp is ground to form a paste. The grinding machine 1 (103) wherein, the top end of the grinding machine 1 is attached to the tray 1 (102). The conveyer belt (105) in the heating chamber (104) acts as the belt for passing the paste while it is being heated wherein, one end of the conveyer belt is connected to the grinding machine 1 (103) and the other end is connected to the tray 2 (108). The tray 2 (108) acts as receiver to receive the dried pulp formed from the conveyer belt and feeds to the grinding machine 2 (109) which is placed just below the tray 2 (108). The tray 2 (108), wherein, one end of the tray is connected to the one end of the conveyer belt (105). The grinding machine 2 (109) converts the dried pulp into the powder form. In another aspect of the present disclosure a method of preparation of animal food by using fruit waste and vegetable pulp as raw material is disclosed wherein, the method comprises following steps;
At rinsing and cleaning step; the fruits and vegetable pulp are initially poured into the rinsing chamber through the hopper (100) for cleaning purposes where dust and unwanted materials are removed and filtered. The cleaned fruits and vegetable pulp is then received by the tray 1(102).
At grinding the pulp step; the cleansed fruits and vegetable pulp from the tray 1 are then passed through the grinding machine 1 (103) where they are cut and a paste is formed which is suitable for further processing.
At heating the paste step; further the paste formed is heated by passing it through the heating chamber (104) over the conveyor belt (105). The heating coil with a fan (106) is provided for proper heating and circulation respectively.
At monitoring the temperature step; the thermocouple is provided to monitor the temperature of the heating chamber. The temperature measuring device (107) is installed inside the furnace to monitor the period for which the pulp is heated.
If the temperature of the furnace and velocity of air are kept to the required condition for the fruit waste and vegetable pulp that is coming from the grinding machine 1, then the moisture content gets minimized. Also, there is no harm to the other nutrients while heating.
At grinding the dried pulp step; the dried pulp from the heating chamber then fed into the grinding machine 2 (109) by using the tray 2 (108), with the help of a feeder mechanism where it almost gets converted into powder form. The pulp is monitored using the optimum time required for converting dry pulp into powder state.
Formation of pellets: As a final step, the dried and ground pulp from grinding machine 2 is then converted into pellets in pellet forming machine (110). The pellets are formed with a particular size and shape to make it easier for animals to feed on them.
In an embodiment of the aspect disclosed, a method of preparation of animal food, wherein, the heating of the paste is performed under controlled temperature and time. This temperature and time of heating depends upon the type of fruit waste and vegetable pulp used.
The present invention discloses a machine for making Animal food using fruit waste and vegetable pulp as raw material, wherein, the raw material is waste of any kind of fruit and pulp of any kind of vegetable. The machine for making animal food disclosed in present application works on the heating and drying process using a heating element and hot air flow. The machine for making animal food disclosed in present application ensures, complete drying of the pulp to retain the protein and making it as an organic feed which can be stored for longer duration especially during drought.
The animal food produced by machine is dried organic animal feed and includes the variety of size and shape of pellets are made according to the need of animal to be fed.
The present invention majorly concentrates on protein rich dried fruit pulp and which can be stored for many days and months to be available whenever necessary. Utilization of fruit waste and vegetable pulp results in benefitting agricultural farmers and traders.
