Filed on 26 October 2024

Abstract

The present invention relates to a bot design to inspect tunnel gas system to detect the presence of gas leakage. It is developed using Internet of Things (IoT) to give real-time responses. The aim is to build a gas inspection robot which navigates through tunnels and pipes and estimate the gas level in it. This mobile robot tells us whether the tunnel environment is safe or not. An android app is developed which controls the navigation system of the bot using a Bluetooth module and a live stream video footage using Wi-Fi module. This shall enable us to remotely access the bot and explore the tunnel. Gas sensors are mounted on the bot to collect different gases that are present within the tunnels. Specification

Description:[001] The invention, in general, relates to the field of the e-commerce. More specifically, the present invention relates to a bot design to inspect tunnel gas.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] The following description provides the information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[003] Currently, an IOT-based system was developed for gas leakage detection that includes integrated Push bullet notifications. When gas leaks from the environment, the user receives a tangible warning in the manner of a buzzer and an LED to take necessary precautions prior to actually harming the environment is done. A notification is also sent to the user's mobile device or laptop. It summarizes the IOT based smart LPG gas detector robot controlled by Android. This system was primarily developed to warn con , Claims:1. A bot for inspecting tunnel gas, comprising:
An MQ2 gas sensor configured to detect a wide range of gases, including methane, butane, propane, alcohol, hydrogen, smoke, and other harmful gases present in a tunnel environment;
An MQ4 gas sensor configured to detect methane (CH₄) concentrations in the tunnel;
An open-source Lua-based NodeMCU firmware configured to control and process data from the gas sensors, facilitating communication and execution of the bot's inspection tasks;
An L293D motor driver configured to control the movement of motors enabling the bot to navigate through the tunnel for gas inspection;
A Bluetooth module configured to wirelessly transmit real-time gas detection data to an external device for monitoring and control.

2. The bot as claimed in claim 1, wherein the MQ2 gas sensor and MQ4 gas sensor are integrated to provide a multi-gas detection system, capable of distinguishing between different types of hazardous gases in the tunnel.

3. The bot as claimed claim 1, wherein the Node
