Abstract
The present invention relates to a biomass briquette machine that combines compression and extrusion mechanisms to offer the briquettes with improved structural integrity and uniform density. It features an inlet hopper (110) that feeds the raw material into the hopper-based blender (102) which derives power through the electric motor (205). The biomass is broken down and mixed with the required material. The blended mixture is then pushed into the outlet unit (101) having multiple holes (103) for dewatering. The improved dewatering is due to a pressure difference between the two pressure zones. The multiple holes (103) compress the mixture to remove excess water and shape the mixture in the desired shape briquette.
